About Bourgas
Bourgas is the fourth largest city in Bulgaria, situated in the south-eastern part of the country. The climate here is temperately continental with a distinct impact from the Black Sea. The town is an industrial centre too. It's not famous as a beach resort (although you can find a few beaches), but more as a focus point to the big southern Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria like Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Sozopol, Dyuni, Elenite, etc. The Airport of Bourgas is the main destination of international flights in the summer.
About Nessebar
The town of Nessebar has about 10,000 inhabitants and extends over a small peninsula. It lies 37km northeast of Bourgas. Its beach is considered to be one of the finest along the Black Sea coast due to a large sandy strip of land between the town and the village of Ravda, covered with clean golden sand.
About Sozopol
Sozopols busiest months are July and August so depending on whether you're looking for a quiet, relaxed holiday or a lively, busy one you know what time of the year to go. This resort is one of the most popular beach resorts due to its casual ambience and its ancient atmosphere. Everything is available in Sozopol, from watching a film at one of two cinemas or heading to one of the night clubs if lively nights are more for you, but the most interesting thing is probably the old town with its old-style wooden houses and cobblestone lanes where you can take a stroll to one of the small restaurants that line the town and enjoy a bite to eat while taking in the sites. There are many public buses that go through Sozopol that travel to the neighbour resorts so there's opportunity to visit other places.
About Sunny Beach
This resort is a beautiful example of sea and mountains blending together, the views are great and it's the perfect place to top up your tan. Parents can enjoy a care free holiday as there are plenty of things for children to keep them entertained including fun activities, slides, swimming pools and merry-go-rounds, inflatable castles, electronic games and plenty of ice cream. There is a large selection of gourmet delights like Kavarma, shopska salad and kebapcheta washed down with a wide selection of superb Bulgarian wines. Once the sun goes down the night life begins in some areas and you will certainly be left with some wonderful memories if you choose to carry on your holiday into the night.
About Sveti Vlas
The village of Sveti Vlas (St.Vlas) has about 3,000 inhabitants and is situated just 4 km to the north of Sunny Beach resort and 9 km away from the town of Nessebar. It lies in the skirts of the Stara Planina mountain (also called the Balkan mountain) and thus offers a beautiful combination of sea and mountain climate, considered favourable for those suffering from lung diseases. The adjacent beaches are of a total length of about 1km and average width of 16 metres. Besides the village's central beach, there is also a smaller one (the so-called 'Campinga' after the campsite there), stretching from the Sun Palace complex to the Riviera complex. The eastern end of the village's adjacent coastal line hosts the small port of local fishermen.
